Italian Women's Library

The Italian Women's Library is part of the Women's Documentation Center in Bologna, one of the most important in the European landscape.

About

It was founded in the late 1970s as a result of a project developed by the Orlando association.
During its more than forty years of activity, the library has collected a unique collection in Italy, which today amounts to more than 40,000 documents between books, magazines and multimedia materials.

Digital library

The Women ‘s Digital Library is the portal that houses digitalizations of printed documentation from different eras related to the historical, cultural, political and social memory of women, including movements of liberation from the nineteenth century to the present.
